Captain America 2 (The Winter Soldier) is coming out on April 4th. My dad is taking me to see it:) I can't wait!! 

I have been reading the Tale of Two Cities for school. I like it a little, at least the parts I understand. 

Tomorrow we don't have school- snow day! I'm tired of snow, but at least I get school off.

Well this week was okay. We did school. Wednesday was mom's birthday! I made her cupcakes😊 Last night we were supposed to go to winter jam-a concert- but we couldn't because of bad weather:(

So we watched monsters university and monsters inc. They were cute movies. 

 On Tuesday I decorated a cake Paris theme! It looked really cool, and tasted good too. That's it for now:)

So, Friday was my birthday- I'm officially a teenager!!:) I had a double party with Jasmine (her birthday was Monday). We went shopping at zona rosa. We also got coffee at Starbucks. It was so fun!! We went to Claire's, Forever 21, Charming Charlie's, Icing, and Bath and Body Works! After we were done shopping, we came back to our house and had pizza, watched a movie, and talked for a few hours:) it was all so fun. 

 We have school off tomorrow for Martin Luther King J.R day:)

Well, I'm back:)

Hello Friends! 

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I thought I'd start up again. I'd like to start posting once a week. How was your Christmas? Mine was really great. We got to open gifts on Christmas Eve this year, and I got an iPad mini!! I really like it. I also got a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, a scarf, socks, a rubix cube,and some gift cards! Our grandparents got to come down, so that was fun. On New Year's Eve, we had some friends over and played games. Everyone stayed up until midnight or later. On New Year's Day, our family went to a pizza place to watch a football game. I didn't really care about the football, so I took my iPad:) We started school on Monday for the semester. It's going pretty well. On

 Monday night, dad and J.T were gone, so mom surprised us girls by bringing home pizza!! We ate pizza, and talked about our goals for the new year. It was really fun! My birthday is coming up, and I'm very excited. I want to have a double birthday party with my friend Jasmine, who's birthday is just a few days before mine.

Summer is almost over

Well, summer is almost over so I thought I'd blog about what I did.
Swim Team. I finished the season a few weeks ago. Championships were at home this year!! We were there from 6:00 am-2:30 pm and then went home for two hours before going to the end of season banquet. Swimming followed that. It was sad saying goodbye for the year to friends, but I was ready to sleep in!:)

We went to my grandparents house last week for my grandpa's birthday and to help them pack for them to move later this month. Mom took us girls on Monday, then my dad and J.T came down Friday afternoon. We all had a fun time shopping, helping them pack, and babysitting our cousins while all the adults went out to eat for Grandpa's birthday!

I am really ready for school to start. I've been so bored this week! The day after school got out, we went on vacation for two weeks. As soon as we got home from that, swim team started. Once that was finished a few weeks ago, we went to my grandparents house. Now we are all home doing nothing. Oh well. I'll probably want this life on ease in the middle of the school season.

Year so far

What I've done this year so far:

 Swimming-
Swam on my own at the Community Center and for the Gators swim team this summer. The meets are especially fun to just hang out with friends and family when you're not swimming an event.

Travel-
Been across the east going to D.C. and South Carolina for vacation! Wow-two completely different worlds. South Carolina is so laid back, while D.C. is just busy, busy, busy- always doing something, walking somewhere- never a restful day there. And even then, there's never enough time to see everything.

Ipod-
I'm kind of always on my ipod. Playing a new game, texting, emailing, or listening to music.

Friends-
Lots of friend time on swim team or just during the summer in general.

Books-
The two favorite books I've read this year have been The Hobbit and Jane Eyre.

Family-
Family time is important to our family and we have gotten a lot of it this year- between swim meets and vacation. It's always fun:)

Schlitter-fun!

Today we went to Schlitterbahn Water park with my swim team!!( NO PRACTICE TODAY:):) It was a lot to fun! Schlitterbahn means "Slippery Road" in German. I really liked the wave pool. I did it like 10 times! lol:)

 We have a swim meet tomorrow. We are competing against Lee's Summit.

 Anyone doing anything for the 4th of July?
